Aston-on-Trent Primary School moved to its new purpose built premises in 1984. It is semi-open plan, set in its own pleasant grounds and continues to serve the village and surrounded area.
The school has about 200 hundred pupils aged between 4-11 years and has been inspected twice; May 1995 and April 1999.
The report acknowledges the good work done by both staff and pupils.
