Save
Aston Village Environment
(SAVE). For those new to the village SAVE was originally formed to lessen the
impact of the A564 on Aston on Trent. SAVE had considerable success in limiting
the impact of the road. Aston's rural setting has always been under threat and
always will be but the silent majority can have a say to what is happening in
our village. After many years of action by SAVE the restoration of the gravel
pit will provide a nature conservation area giving a valuable asset to the
village. SAVE have been and are still actively opposing other hostile
developments that threaten the rural environment of our village. If you are one
of the silent majority come and join SAVE and make your voice heard. -----
